KRFA is incredibly appreciative and grateful for our supporters, stakeholders and partners. We are specially thankful for East Kentwood High School including Athletic Director, Blaine Brumels, Varsity Head Football Coach, Tony Kimbrough, and so many other KPS staffers who’ve believed in our vision.
Our Story
Founded by Dontel and Yolanda Jones in 2009, KRFA continues to push their vision forward. It is our shared belief that youth athletics fosters benefits far beyond sports achievement and notoriety. Helping to form and encourage character traits such as work ethic, teamwork and discipline continue to be the catalyst of our purpose and mission. The organization officially changed its name to Kentwood Youth Sports Association Rocket Football And Cheer in 2022 but continues to operate under the KRFA brand.
Our Mission
To serve 300+ families while providing program participants and community stakeholders an uncommonly superior experience. We are dedicated to bridging and encouraging continued athletic involvement from K-12.
